PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Work with the local supply chain team to minimize the On Time in Full (OTIF) failures in a country due to a failure to fill due to off line plant equipment.
2. Work with the regional PG Supply chain team to Identify the right maintenance frequency and activities for our plants using a rigorous analysis of data and LSS tools
3. Working with the country supply chain teams to define the correct maintenance strategy for the business i.e.
a. PG or GSS resources
b. Where required develop and manage 3rd party maintenance contracts
4. Manage the maintenance operation through the use of KPI’s that are designed to obtain the correct balance between customer service and cost
a. Root cause deviations and work with Regional PG Supply Chain team to resolve
5. To review plant maintenance spend against budget, identify and replicate best practices for the region
6. Use periodic reviews and relevant analytical techniques to evaluate the best maintenance strategy for each piece of equipment
7. Ensure compliance to plan and periodically audit each country to ensure adherence to AP Clean desk policies
8. Act as the contact for technical queries from customers
9. Co-ordinate and execute the installation of simple gas supply equipment


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. University degree with a preference to for a numerical background i.e. Engineering, mathematics, economics
2. 3 years experience in a operational or engineering role
3. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
