As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project management of construction for new store openings and existing store renovations.  In this role, you will report to the Head of Store Planning in Shanghai

In this role you will:

You will develop and manage the construction schedules, coordinate with HQ in Milan, local functional teams and external vendors as it relates across the whole construction process, ensuring all appropriate deadlines are met and standards and costs are effectively and efficiently managed. You will be responsible for your own set of project budgets, ensuring the appropriate governance is met and vendors are fully compliant with the Company’s standards, shopping malls’ design guidelines, and other local rules and regulations. You will participate in vendor and construction material sourcing and selection process as per business needs.

In addition to you will also be negotiating with landlords on technical requirements, providing advice for resolving any possible site problems and constraints.

·         Bachelor degree in Architecture or related disciplines

·         3 - 5 years of experience in store planning, and has strong retail store project/ site management skills

·         self-motivated, strong sense of job ownership and world class project management skills.

·         good listening, interpersonal and negotiation skills, good team player

·         able to work independently and deal with high pressure

·         willing to travel extensively and frequently in China and/or overseas

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, MS Project, AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop
