Job Description

- Leading the product design according to PEP process and PE requirements

- Ensuring the product design quality, cost optimization and on time delivery

- Draft development report for documentation of investigation results

- Conduct the 3D/2D mechanical design task for electrical drives or motors with Catia / Smarteam or UG

- Make sure tolerance calculation, expert passport for simulation and components release

- Creating and maintaining the product BOM in SAP

- Conducting on DFMEA and leading DRBFM analysis for the related product

- Set up design specification according to customer demands

- Working together with Product manager to assess the product roadmap and KPIs

- Following up the process of tooling kick off and part quality evaluation

- Technical discussions with suppliers about the design feasibility

- Working together with manufacturing process engineer and plant to ensure DFMA

- Support product validation program set up and sample build up

- Working together with system department to conduct product verification in system level, workout the system evaluation sometimes need to build up by own.

- Support product release process TOR with release department

- Support LLD (Lean Line Design) workshop

- Support production line ramp up

- Support sales team for new project acquisitions with technical specifications, BOM etc

- Support customer project team for new project applications

Qualifications

• Master degree in Mechincs, mechatronics field.
• 5+ working experience in Mechnical product / system design in automotive field.
• Approved project/product experience shown the capability for design skills.
