Your Mission

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Puma’s WHSL/OR distribution center.  Identify and define the critical capabilities needed to support Puma China’s Supply Chain strategies.  Think strategically and provide input in the requirements and design process
• Update performance metrics and continually report progress to goal. Works with the 3PL to ensure that customer orders are appropriately prioritized and fulfilled on time and in full on a daily basis.  Follow up on customer claims and ensure they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner
• Manage quarterly business reviews.  Develops tracking and improvement strategies around Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time fulfilment, productivity, inventory accuracy, customer claims, and incident and safety rates.  Communicates these metrics to the 3PL partner on a regular/set basis, and that the required action plans are created and executed to closure
• Audit 3PL billing to ensure accuracy, including charge backs related to consumables such as cartons, polybags, shoe boxes, etc.  Develop process improvements to mitigate charge backs related to consumables
• Develops and executes an annual budget including expense tracking and forecasting for distribution planning, cost controls, and revenue achievement according to productivity objectives for operational efficiency
• Partners effectively with key stakeholders internally/externally to achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value
• Ensures facility compliance with governmental and/or other regulatory laws as communicated and directed by Puma’s insurance agent or Puma China leadership

Your Talent

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain discipline or related experience
• Minimum 5 years-total experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, program management, or a related field preferably in a high-volume environment in the sporting goods or apparel/footwear industry
• Additional expertise in supply chain management (Distribution Center/Warehouse Management Planning, Goods/Inventory Flow Planning is a plus

• Demonstrated success in cross-functional, global project/program execution

• Leadership Identity to lead and influence others, proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures
• Innovation Mindset and Strategic Enterprise Thinking. Continuous improvement culture and mind-set is a must
• Experience in aligning cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

• Exceptional listening skills, excellent written skills and high-profile communication/storytelling skills
• High tolerance for ambiguity, self-directed, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Highly flexible with business change in directions from a project, plan, and schedule stand-points. Project and Program Management acumen, Literacy in Lean Thinking a plus
