Primary Responsibilities:

• Primary effort is to define, generate, qualify and prospect new business opportunities in Data Center relevant industry and additionally other hi-tech industry such as Semiconductor and lithium ion battery, closing new sales and creating future prospects for service and recurring sales.
• In align with business strategic plans, be part of global team including North Asia, EMEA, Southeast Asia, driving growth in Data center relevant industry and additionally other hi-tech industry (such as Semiconductor and lithium ion battery)
• Monthly analysis and review of sales by products at each distributor/key account to identify discrepancy and define action plan
• Develops long and short-term business and marketing plans for Data Center industry to meet share, volume and profit objectives in align with business strategic plans.
• Develop competitive and solutions strategies in conjunction with the sales teams to position SPX refrigeration application solutions in an effort to capture orders.
• Advocate customers for product features and system solution design.
• Understand the requirements of customers in our key vertical markets - Data Center to provide the sales channel clear direction for required scope of supply and product value positioning
• Maintains and refines database of specials quotes in order to improve quote accuracy and speed.
• Review specifications, create deviations and comments to specifications, identify documents requirements for quote, and best in class proposal for engineered products including delivery and price of equipment
• Understand contract requirements and convert them into company language in the order write-up.
• Oversee and manage distributor and key customers relationships
• Collaborates with regional sales to assure customer sales satisfaction, identify new client referrals and/or business prospects

 

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 years outside sales experience within Data Center relevant industry, Mechanical industry or HVAC Industry; minimum 5 years’ experience managing distributors/key accounts in Cooling Industry, strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HVAC and related field required, MBA is preferred
• Good command of English, both oral and written
• Strong sales negotiation skills necessary while maintaining strong working relationships with distributors and customers
• Ability to both work independently and to collaborate with others
• Willingness to travel a minimum 40%; ability to travel in China and outside as needed

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies, preferred
• Experience in the specialty additives business, preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication & presentation skills
• High level of organizational and time management skills
• Strong computer software skills, proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint skill
• Mature, Open minded, flexible, aggressive, integrity, able work under pressure
• Highly self-Motivation with successful track record and result orientated
