BASIC FUNCTION

l  Accountable for executing the New Product Schedule utilizing cross-functional resources and the NPD process. 

l  Involve in evaluating the potential supplier process by NPD team, especially in electrical kitchen appliance industry

l  Responsible for the NPD project related forms/ reporting update. Provide necessary data analysis and SAP maintain for kitchen team, etc.                                                      

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Handle the project and control the time, quality and cost to ensure the product comes into market on time,

 

·         Make project plan, such as project schedule, status report, action list, checklist, ect.

 

·         Solve outstanding issues and follow up the process.

 

·         Lead the project team from different function and co-ordinate with different function head to make sure the project completion.

 

·         Keep tracing the NPS- New Product Schedule and align with project team for the timing to kickoff and launch new products accordingly.

 

·         Evaluate the performance of project team members.

 

·         Summarize and analyze the project when completed for the benefit of learning and process improvement.

 

·         Involve and drive NPD team for the potential supplier evaluating process for OEM/ODM projects

 

·         Provide the NPD report, SAP system maintain and necessary data analysis, etc timely

 

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

         Supervisory Relationships:

1.      Direct report to SR MGR-PROD MKTG, KITCHENS CHINA & APAC.

2.      Dot line to SR MANAGER - PROGRAM MGMT, KITCHEN FAUCETS & FIXTURES

3.      Frequent collaborative associations with senior management and staffs in Marketing, Purchasing, Industrial Design and Manufacturing.

4.      Collaborative associations with Legal and Accounting.

         External Business Relationships:

                  1.   Collaborative associations with suppliers.                            

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5 years of related work experience, with at least 1-2 years as project leader or group leader.

• Can handle new product project independently.

• Have cross-functional work experience, such as account leader, planner, sourcing, quality and project manager.

• Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skill.

• Good feasibility and can work under high pressure.

• Strong leadership and analytical skill.

• Good English speaking and writing skill, good PC skill.
