SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Provide technical solution and mechanical feasibilities study for new products globally, mainly for bathtubs and related accessories, translate commercial, functional and design specifications into technical 3D models and 2D drawings details design.

• Do mechanical design for new products in line with requested function, performance, quality, manufacturing capacity, project plan and product cost target.

• Support to develop part/system test plan, perform prototype validation, system assembly check/verification, do issue analysis and provide solutions.

• Interfacing with overseas counterparts, support manager to create tools and processes that result in organizational efficiency.

• Continuous improvement and maintenance on quality and cost for mass production products.

• Innovation for key technical challenges.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or comparable education background

• Strong skills with mechanical design tools – such as Pro-E, Autocad;

• At least 8+ years similar work experience in mechanical products design, good knowledge of material properties and process such as the plastic injection, stamping, etc.

• Proficiency in English, strong English speaking, reading and writing capabilities.

• Deep experience and capability in production development with good communication and cross-functional teamwork.
