University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Procurement Advisor in China Beacons Institute.

 

Your Responsibility

Your key responsibilities include:

• CBI's daily procurement handling include but not limited to follow UNNC/CBI policy and procedures to complete procurement tasks, submit order details to suppliers/vendors and ensure provided details are complete and understood and negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing, etc.;

• CBI's procurement related contract and document management, including maintain excellent documentation, standard format and record retention consistent with the UNNC/CBI procurement policy for all procurement activities, etc.;

• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the supply chain flow;

• Work closely with external suppliers and internal cross functional teams to proactively identify opportunities for implementation of cost savings, lead time reductions, quality enhancements and overall improved service levels.

• Manage good relationship with suppliers/vendors;

• Seek new suppliers/vendors and reasonable prices to meet the procurement-requesters' needs;

About You

• You should have Bachelor's degree in purchasing/logistic, supply chain management or related discipline;

• You should have two years relevant work experience in procurement of goods and services;

• You should have full knowledge and application of the principles and theories of procurement and supply chain.

To expedite the development of China Beacons Institute, it is looking for professional, trustworthy administrative staffs with a passion for grow together with the Institute.

Your Remuneration, Benefits and Support

You will be offered a fixed term contract initially of 3 years with University of Nottingham Ningbo China with effect from December 2020 or as soon as thereafter and be seconded to CBI.
