University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Senior Estate Officer in China Beacons Institute.

 

Your Responsibility

Your key responsibilities include:

• Play a major role in the management and renovation of CBI office and lab space;

• Have long term and short term plans for the lab/workshop arrangement in terms of discipline development, lab layout, equipment purchase, facilities sufficiency etc.;

• Actively liaise with academic and admin staff, identify and filter their needs, provide them with efficient procurement, maintenance and other related services etc.;

• Establish management system and manage the laboratory and workshop facilities within CBI;

• Take lead in the maintenance, repairing, upgrading of workshop and laboratory areas within CBI.

 

About You

• You should have good knowledge of construction including building technologies, safety, progress, engineering cost control and fit out master plan from the perspective of the university;

• You should have good knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and policies, both in construction and laboratory management;

• You should have proven ability to work accurately in order to provide quality technical support with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

To expedite the development of China Beacons Institute, it is looking for professional, trustworthy administrative staffs with a passion for grow together with the Institute.

Your Remuneration, Benefits and Support

You will be offered a fixed term contract initially of 3 years with University of Nottingham Ningbo China with effect from December 2020 or as soon as thereafter and be seconded to CBI.
