Responsibilities:

1. Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative leadership to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and MESH requirements.

2. Chooses fiscally and socially responsible methods and processes of managing natural resources and waste.

3. Continuously identifies, assesses, and reduces/eliminates EHS risk (including security).

4. Continuously deploys methods of reducing the environmental footprint.

5. Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of mutual concern including voluntary certification, maintenance of environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data.

6. Complies with Eaton’s ethics policy and keeps management informed of issues associated with regulatory compliance.

7. Provides for timely EHS training of employees. Encourages employee involvement in EHS activities.

8. Investigates incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective action plans.

9. Plans to deal with emergency situations that could adversely impact the environment, employees, or the community.

10. Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of strategic initiatives designed to produce verifiable world-class performance.

11. Primary communicator of EHS messages to employees and management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in environmental science or related discipline is required.

2. 5+ years direct responsibility for an EHS Management System in a manufacturingenvironment. Preferably gained in the manufacturing sector of multi-national companies.

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, Strong training/mentoring skills.

4. Good command of oral and written English, MS Office.
