RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement the overall software architecture
• Develop back-end applications, servers, databases for functionality
• Design and construct APIs and integrate with front-end UI
• Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
• Collaborate with development team to determine project scope and direction
• Decide on platform and coding standard and review
• Maintain thorough documentation of systems and applications
• Hands on programming and also supervise the development team
• Liaise with global development team on product strategy and management

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

1. Degree in Computer Science, software engineering or related field
2. Proficiency with back-end programming language dot.Net, Java, Python, WebAPI, GraphQL
3. Familiar with CSS preprocesors, bundlers, and associated languages e.g. Sass, Less
4. Proficiency with front-end technologies JavaScript, HTML, CCS, ReactJS, BootStrap
5. Proficiency with database technology such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
6. Proficiency in designing and constructing API
7. Familiar with Azure PaaS and DevOps
8. Experience working with agile and scrum methodology
9. Superior interpersonal communication and team management skills
10. Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
11. Plus: exposure to software architecture
