Software Engineer – Device Connectivity

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, testing, releasing and operating Windows desktop and cloud-based applications.
• Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions
• Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to identify opportunities that can be exploited through great software features
• Working as a member of a design, build and test agile team continuously releasing new updates
• Mentoring people whether or not they are on your team
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of progressive experience as a professional software engineer delivering world class software products and services using object-oriented analysis, design and programming techniques.
• 2+ years of experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design – C#
• 2+ years of experience in developing C# .NET/.NET Core GUI desktop/Web applications
• 1+ years of experience creating and/or integrating RESTful API
• Experience in TCP/IP socket-based communication, multi-threaded parallel processing.
• Experience in SQL and relational databases knowledge. Integration with database using C#.
• Experience working as a member of an Agile team
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master’s degree in a related field is an added plus.

• Experience designing, building, testing, releasing and operating software products and services consumed by external customers
• A strong background in creating scalable and resilient Windows desktop software
• Demonstrated functional and technical leadership
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems)
• Demonstrated understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases (SQL / NoSQL)
• C#, or C++ development experience
• Experience with RESTful Web Service Design
• Experience with Test-Driven Development
• Experience with Agile software development frameworks and methodologies
• Experience with Big Data and real-time analytics
