职位描述

job summary:

Lead a team, drive the business development within assigned geographical territory align with company overall sales strategy, work closely with vertical sales teams and other supporting function teams to achieve business target and increase market share


II. duties and responsibilities: (list the daily tasks)

1.       Be accountable to achieve and exceed an annual sales objectives representing sales turnover, product quantity and account receivable from assigned geographical territory

2.       Prepare budget and business plan which can be part of the overall budget presentation for RSM stating a firm sales commitment and a conclusive explanation how the targets can be achieved

3.       Execute the sales/market strategy and action plan, define the sales engineer individual target and monitor the sales engineers to achieve the goal; review the business development at daily basis, utilizing various sales management tools, such as CRM, project funnel management, forecasting, individual activity plan, weekly meeting, etc.

4.       Weekly and monthly business review reports are required with detailed information regarding market trend, competition status, marketing activities, sales initiatives, results and deviations to the targets, actions and plans, so on

5.       The systematic search for new customers, as well as the maintaining & developing the existing customers, will be the key focus during the business year

6.       Work together with channel sales manager and channel sales engineers, to identify and recruit new qualified channel partners in line with the company distributor strategy, while maintain, support, develop and review existing channel partners at daily basis

7.       Identify and report the necessary marketing activities such as fairs, seminars and other promotional activities; organize or participate & support all relevant marketing events in the territory

8.       Customer visits with team members to understand specific customer’s needs, collect market data, collect VOC (Voice of Customer) input and to expand area sales result

9.       Develop and maintain customer satisfaction within the area

10.    Recruitment or dismission of subordinates has to be done together with the management level.

11.    The necessary daily managerial guidance, coaching and training to the subordinates should be provided, to ensure that the subordinates participate in the training program provided by the company

12.    An annual based appraise to each subordinate should be given in line with guidelines from company HR; PIP (Performance Improvement Program) discussion to individual is subjected to necessity

13.    General administration, monitoring and controlling the office expenses, ensure that the expense guidelines are observed and the agreed budgeted limits are not exceeded

14.    Maintain the knowledge on commercial, product, application and market related to the job to stay always updated

15.    Hands on and direct sales involvement for key customers within the territory is required

16.    Other tasks may assigned


III. qualifications:


1.       education background:

  1. Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical / electrical design, mechanical / electrical engineering, mechanical manufacturing, architectural environment & equipment engineering; MBA is preferred

2.       working experience: 

  1. more than 8 years sales working experience, including at least 3 years of successful sales management experience
  2. worked for multinational company is preferred
  3. technical working background is desired

  1. language and computer skills:

a)      native Chinese mandarin, fluent in English both oral & written

b)      familiar with and experienced in using of Microsoft Office, e.g. word, excel, power point and Lotus Notes

4.       other requirements:

a)      strong personnel leadership and organizational skill

b)      integrity, mature, team working, good interpersonal communication and presenting skill

c)       customer orientated, result driven, self motivated and high sense of responsibility

d)      able to work under pressure

e)      frequent business trips in responsible area is required
