职位描述

What you will do

The Manager, collaborates with Transition Director and CDO together with all heads of various functions and (e.g. Finance, IT, HR, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) Business Units to conceive, plan and manage the execution/implementation of any cross-functional, cross-BU, and global processes and initiatives necessary to support achieving Corporate Development/BUM&A integration/ transition objectives. Reporting to the VP Transition Management Office, this role will lead and/or support the Transition Director, acquisition and divestiture activities, with a focus on the post-announcement thru to integration/separation, including TSA management and termination.  The Transition Manager will lead day-to-day activities and coordinate project delivery with JCI employees, JCI contractors, and third-party resources.  The Director M&A will prepare figures and facts around each acquisition and divestiture including effort estimates, service costing, transition services agreements, and project plans.  . This person must be a skilled communicator since the role interacts with levels inside and outside the organization.

How you will do it

Liaise with Corporate Development, BU Leadership,  and functional leaders for successful integration/separation execution.

  • Build and lead global cross-functional teams who execute integration/separation related Corporate Development transactions.

  • Interface with external third parties as required to support transaction execution.

  • Work with functional area leads to consistently prioritize and deliver integration/separation related corporate development projects.

  • Ensuring business continuity through delivery and/or receipt of the TSAs

  • Establish TSA governance and provide management support for the TSA process

  • Provide cross functional Performance monitoring, tracking and reporting of all integration/separation related corporate development projects. ( inc TSA Performance monitoring)

  • Establish and maintain cost management and reporting of internal costs and recovery including stranded cost management

  • Understand and enforce migration and integration  guiding principles as established by the CDO

  • Facilitate collaboration between the purchasing/selling BU and corporate development to support migration and integration activities

  • Maintain an operating model for all stakeholders to ensure effective communication and performance

  • Work with cross-functional team, contractors, and vendors to successfully deliver deal post announcement

  • Coordinate and support M&A assigned project managers for successful and smooth project progress

  • Communicate M&A related transition approaches and activities with SMEs and stake holders including vendors

  • Identify project roadblocks and seek resolution or escalate.

  • Track progress of integration/separation activities through to Day One

  • Ensure business operations on Day One

  • Interface with external third parties as required to support transaction execution.

  • Establish information gathering processes and identify information sources as data is spread of many different systems and owners

How you will do it

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s (MBA) degree preferred or relevant work experience

  • Experience implementing and driving adoption of solutions within a global environment

  • Experience leading large deployments or separations cross functionally

  • Demonstrates skills leading team members from different regions, skills, responsibility and other functional areas

  • Advanced interpersonal skills and develop consultative relationships with trusted business partners, across all functions

  • Must be able to facilitate critical/creative thinking exercises, assess alternative viewpoints and develop options and recommendations.

  • Ability to communicate all critical points of interest to best inform the decision makers at various levels of management.

  • Must have highly developed program and project management skills

  • Builds supportive relationships with others

  • Communication and influencing skills across multiple levels, functions, and cultures
