Principal Accountabilities

Assist Trade Compliance Executives in the following activities:

- Lead a small team to review customer orders

- Perform daily Trax Screening for the APAC region (Eg: CN/HK/MY/ANZ).

- Perform screening for product import/export license requirements.

- Assist in HK/SG/UK export license application.

- Review End User Undertaking/Statement Of Assurance.

- Respond to enquiries from Sales, Customer Service and others on trade compliance matters.

- Monthly review of the translation of China new customers.

- Identify improvement opportunities in trade compliance processes and suggest solutions.

- Lead cross-functional projects related to trade compliance.

- Escalate issues to trade compliance management as needed.

- Any other projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Skills, Know How and experience

- Bachelor degree with major in logistics/business administration/law

- 3 to 5 years logistics experience

- knowledge in trade compliance will be an added advantage.

- Fluent in spoken and written English

- Good communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels.

- Able to work well under pressure.

- Able to work independently

Additional skills:

- Experienced in using Microsoft Office.
