GENERAL SUMMARY

The position is responsible for technical support & design for engineering Evaporative Cooling Towers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

l Perform any duties as assigned from solid line supervisor and manager and mutually support all engineering team members.

l Perform product design & improvement & order processing.

l Create & check tower order BOMs & fabrication drawings.

l Develop relevant materials & technics for assigned orders & projects.

l Provide guidance on product assembly.

l Establish product criteria.

l Perform site inspections, investigate and resolve customer issues / or supplemental issues.

l Prepare various technical material and documentation.

l Propose concepts and basic data for product improvement & order design.

l Perform product SAP/ BEM and configuration maintenance.

l Perform part design and analysis, tower 3D modeling and drafting.

l Review vendor-supplied engineering documents.

l Sales support on ideas development & pricing.

l Lead VA/VE and NPD projects, and interface with a global cross-functional team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor degree or above in mechanical, power, thermal power, civil or structural engineering.
• More than 5 years’ relevant experience with structural design
• Some experience with order processing
• Some experience with VA/VE and/or NPD Projects
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and AutoCAD.

SKILLS:

• Good written & spoken English required.
• Practical working knowledge of AutoCAD (& 3D Modeling).
• Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills, thoughtful, self-motivated and willing to work under pressure.
• Technical skills to seek could be coil / tube heat exchanger design for manufacture
