Responsibilities:

• Manage project design from initiation to handover to meet the client requirement and expectation

• Manage and coordinate design consultants, design institutes and the design engineer of client project team

• Manage the review of design works, specifications and documents of all disciplines as design progress and manage design consultant to provide solutions to problems

• Support technical document preparation for tender

• Communicate with clients and understand their needs and expectations

• Manage design changes and request for design information

• Chair design meetings with various parties and prepare the meeting minutes for the distribution to all related parties

• Review final project design drawings and specifications with other project architects, consultants, and appropriate client representative

• Prepare and follow up design program

• Propose design alternates to meet local requirements and project needs with the support of other consultants

• Manage VE process to deliver cost effective design solution

• Prepare service scope for the procurement of design institute and other consultants

• Assistant to view and pre-qualify Design Institute and other consultants, and provide assessment report to the client

• Manage and coordinate the evaluation and approval of materials and specifications required for the project

• Manage the review and approval of contractor or subcontractor’s shop drawing.

• Prepare design report and review design options proposed by Client with the assistant of the consultants

• Organize material/equipment investigation and coordinate the preparation of report on the need basis.

• Support to technical evaluation and analysis of bids submitted on technical aspects

• Manage the design team with regular updating and archiving of the database of as-built drawings & documents as well as project construction standards for projects

• Responsible for updating, filling and distributing  of design documents to ensure correct use of design information

• And other works assigned by the company as appropriate to meet the client expectation.

  Requirements:

• Bachelor degree, major in architecture design or other related design education background

• Fluent English/Chinese speaking in daily working communications

• At least 10 years work experience in the projects. Industrial design working experience is a must

• Good team spirits

• Positive, hard working, and strong learning desire

• Skillful in AUTOCAD, SketchUp, PHOTOSHOP, Microsoft office, 3D Max capability as a plus
