- For our Infrastructure & Cities Sector in Changsha,, we are looking for a AMI Product Lifecycle Management and Portfolio Manager for International Markets

What are my responsibilities?

- To identify and consolidate the Mandatory & Desirable customer requirements, working closely with Customers and other channels - particularly those coming from SG division sales team or other units.

- Responsible product management for advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) products

- R&D budget planning, time schedule and steering of product requirements, specifications, implementation and realization

- Budget and time schedule responsibility

- To manage products from suppliers which satisfy those customer requirements, working closely with procurement and development partners

- To develop the appropriate Business Cases in conjunction with other Project Team members

- Internal and external product documentation, catalogs, presentation slides, etc. in English

- To be a product expert, understanding your products, competing products, technology & market trends

- Acts as interface between Siemens Product House HQ in Europe and Wasion R&D team in China

- Continuous Knowledge acquisition

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Bachelors or above degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline (Electronics, Communications, or similar)

- Full Project Lifecycle experience, including definition, requirements gathering, configuration and delivery (5+ years)

- Well developed skills for both hardware and software products

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines in an approach that is both rational and ordered.

- Metering product know-how, with knowledge of existing and emerging standards for export markets

- An understanding of communications methodologies and its relation to Smart Metering and how it can help drive benefits for consumers and utilities

- Understanding of Smart Grid Concepts

- Fundamental understanding of Smart Grid technology

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of partners and colleagues

- Ability to travel to customer sites and other business related travel

- Knowledge of Utility market structures and business processes

- "Open-minded" communication skills

- Intercultural sensibility with experience of working in international markets

- Native Chinese language skills

- Excellent English language skills both verbal and written

- Experience of working in international organization

- Exposure to technical pre-sales desirable, experiences in tendering and bidding desirable
