Metso Outotec is looking for a Logistics Control Tower Specialist to join our regional (Asia) logistics team.

  

As a Logistics Specialist your main responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring principal company shipments; booking international shipments from internal and external suppliers; ensuring that all shipment documentation complies to export regulations from the supplying country and import regulations for the delivering country and serving our internal customers in a way that guarantees end customer satisfaction with Metso Outotec services. A very important part of the work is identification of opportunities for improvement related with tools, triggers/inputs to the process and internal processes. You will be working closely with our internal customers, suppliers and logistics service providers and provide support to the Regional Control Tower Manager as well as the other team members. 

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education. More than three years’ experience in logistics, experienced different functional area in logistics such as forwarding, warehouse management, transportation management, import & export, and supply chain management, etc.

• Language: Strong English skills in reading and Writing. Smooth oral English.

• Computer: Have a good command of MS Office, be familiar with SAP/ERP & TMS & Oracle system is a plus.

• Excel Analysis ability is a plus

You must have an independent and flexible working style as a part of our team and be able to work in shifts if needed to support multiple time zones. As a Logistics Coordinator you will need to manage issues in a fast-paced environment and to need the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Most importantly you must be a team player with willingness to learn and collaborate with colleagues in the Control Tower as well as those outside of the department.
