JOB DESCRIPTION
PEOPLE - WORK WITH DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS AT HEAD OFFICE & MARKET LEVELS TO EXECUTE MARKETING RELATED ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE AND PRESENT THE WATSONS BRANDING IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY AT THE MARKET LEVEL AND TO BUILD TRAFFIC TO THE STORES.
-Fully support Market’s GM or Operations Director in building the business
-Develop mutual trust and rapport with the HQ Marketing Team, Operations and Store Development
-Work closely with Store Development and Operations at the market level to ensure that the Watsons Brand and PR guidelines are observed strictly and implemented according to the template designed by Head Office
-Externally, work with various parties in the local communities to project a positive brand and company image.
SERVICE –EXECUTE MARKETING ACTIVITIES TO DRIVE TRAFFIC AND SALES BASED ON RESOURCES ALLOCATED BY REGIONS. SEEK CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT IN EXECUTION AND TO PROVIDE TIMELY FEEDBACKS TO MARKET CHAMPION
-Promote the Watsons brand and make it looks good and presentable in stores and on all internal and external communication materials. Full compliance with guidelines is a must.
-Together with Operations, make our customers happy and have an enjoyable shopping experience with Watsons.
-Ensure Operations and Store Development develop a high level of knowledge regarding our branding execution
-Execute local program to drive store traffic and sales as assigned by market champion and report back performance results and issues timely.
-Report feedbacks from customers and Operations to market champion and HO and work out corrective actions with market champion to improve
-Build local PR relationship with media and maintain a close working relationship with them
-Explore possible cooperative opportunities with local media and report ideas to market champion for approval and appropriate budget allocation
-Develop local relationship with potential 3rd parties such as universities, landlords and government advertising & promotion regulatory bureau.
PRODUCT – KNOW THE BRAND, THE CONSUMERS AND PROFESSINAL IN EXECUTION
-Help Head Office to deliver all relevant research findings about our brand and customers to management and other functional colleagues at the market level
-With HQ’s guidelines, work with Store Development to plan and execute new store and refit store’s visual placement schedule
QUALITY - MAINTAIN A GOOD IN-STORE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS.
MAINTAIN THE HIGH QUALITY OF OUR BRAND IN AND AROUND THE STORE
-Help Operations to execute model store and feedbacks comments to market champion
-Arrange POP and related in-store materials to store timely based on the production schedule by Head Office
-Implement with Operations the National promotion 100% according to the promotion guideline
-Together with Operations, implement any POP or store communication materials change promptly and accurately
COMPLIANCE – ENSURE PROFESSIONAL HIGH STANDARD OF MARKETING EXECUTION. ENSURE HIGH INTEGRITY OF A&P EXPENSES CONTROL AND PROFESSIONAL WORKING REALTIOPNSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS AND MEDIA
-Ensure all brand logos and brand visuals are executed according to the brand and store visuals guidelines
-Assist market champion in the tendering process and ensure that the suppliers used at the local level will deliver the highest quality of work
-Prepare rolling monthly A&P spending plan and report the spending status and issues to market champion
RESULTS – DELIVER SALES AND PROFIT TO THE COMPANY

-Ensure the best use of resources available to support store sales.

-Execute HO and market’s led CRM initiatives and achieve KPIs as assigned

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
1.College graduate, CET 4 or above
2.Above 2-3 years working experience in Marketing, preferably in retail
3.Strong and effective communication skill
4.Initiative to solve issues and a quick learner
5.Self-motivated and is able to work under pressure
6.Willing to travel
7.PC literate with PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
