Job Description & Summary

A career in our Personal Tax Compliance practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps individuals and families comply with US Federal and State tax filing rules. You’ll focus on tax policy changes related to tax returns, US and international tax reporting, tax payments and Internal Revenue Service communications.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in their individual tax compliance obligations, including preparation of individual tax computations and returns, and handling correspondence with the respective tax authorities;
• Advise on tax considerations in individual tax efficiency planning;
• Advise on international mobility, reward and employment related matters, e.g. visa and work permit; and
• Maintain client relationship (maintain daily communication with client and respond to client's request on a timely manner).

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree;
• Qualified member of a professional accounting body would be an advantage;
• Relevant tax experience in a similar working environment would be a plus;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Confident with a strong business sense;
• Strong analytical skills and organizing skills;
• Good project management skills.
