Position: Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing, negotiating, awarding and documenting purchases for goods and services.
• Challenge current cost base, through cost structure analysis, negotiation, benchmarking and RFP/ RFQ as appropriate
• Develop bids and proposal formats. Lead complex RFP/RFQ as well as lead small projects.
• Interface with internal customers and suppliers to ensure that the material/services are delivered on-time and in accordance with the specifications and quality notes documented in the Purchase Order. Managing supplier performance to cost, schedule and quality requirements.
• Lead or support category leader to do category strategy development.
• Recommend process improvement to streamline for efficiency. Analyze complex problems and deliver solutions.
• Conduct supplier performance review and evaluation together with internal customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years experiences in Purchasing, experience in Consumer Study, IT, Facility Management or Lab Supply / Lab Equipment is preferred.
• Experience in category sourcing is preferred.
• Good in English reading and writing.
• Great communication and negotiation skills
• Large autonomy and excellent organization of work
• Strategic and systemic thinking
• SAP / Ariba experience preferred
