Role and responsibility
Reporting directly to the China IT Director, the Internet IT Manager will be responsible for helping the L'Oreal China brands to develop their online activities by providing daily support concerning:

Hosting: Will be in charge of managing the hosting of all L'Oreal China websites, respecting L'Oreal Group's security & hosting policy. This includes:
Designing technical architecture (Hardware, network, Software)
Managing capacity planning
Migrate locally-hosted websites to L'Oreal official hosting farm
Guarantee the availability and performance of brands' websites by permanently recommending & implementing improvements
Manage the relationship with outsourced vendors including hosting partner, caching provider etc.
Purchase services in order to improve the ROI
Security: Will guarantee that L'Oreal China websites respect L'Oreal Group security policy, including:
Defining backup and DRP policy
Managing infrastructure security & improvement (patches, database update, bug fixing...)
DNS registration and/or transfer process: will be in charge of managing all DNS-related activities
Data security: will guarantee L'Oreal customers' private data security by regularly auditing vendors & partners. Will help the brands in selecting the best-in-class partners.
Measurement: In coordination with outsourced vendors and Internet managers, will be in charge of implementing a single tracking solution (web analytics) for all L'Oreal China brands.
Coordination with central team: Will ensure the proper communication and coordination with L'Oreal central Internet IT team, guaranteeing that local developments are compliant with L'Oreal Group Internet policy
New projects development:
Will help in identifying interesting new Internet technologies
Will support brands in launching new projects by managing technical aspects of these projects, including coordination with local web agencies & L'Oreal IT Department
Required skills:
Exceptional project management skills
Previous experience managing vendors
Excellent English
Strong communication skills, including ability to translate functional requirements expressed by marketing
people into technical requirements
Business sensitivity, including analysis, reporting and negotiation skills
Technical skills: Good knowledge about following technologies are required:
Operating Systems: Windows Server and Microsoft technologies
Databases: MS SQL Server 2000, MS SQL Server 2005 & 2008
Operation: IIS 6.0; SQL maintenance plan
Web Related: ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, Java script, VB Script, ASP, HTML, Flash.
Previous experience in E-Commerce and/or Social Media technology
Some knowledge about caching technology and web analytics would be a plus
