职位描述

Overview:

This IT Business Analyst / Project Assistant role will be a critical role as part of building out a local IT team supporting the China business and associated IT functions (such as cash and trade operations, custody operations).

This position will be in charge of managing a portfolio of local and possibly regional technology projects supporting the business in China in their aggressive growth plans, for example:管理一系列IT项目

  • Managing several essential maintenance deliverables
  • Defining and initiating application rationalization projects.

A key part of the role will include strengthening the client relationships and actively managing their application system requirements and delivery. This includes supporting the definition of roadmaps and blueprints for the current local application portfolio.

This role reports locally to the Corporate Banking and Investment Banking IT Managers.

Essential skills/responsibilities/competencies needed:

Key Responsibilities:

? Ensure each project and associated business case are scoped, initiated and approved according to required procedures

? Ensure the project is planned in a manner that delivers to the required cost and quality and within the agreed scope, including appropriate milestone definition, work breakdown structure, dependencies, and assumptions

? Ensure the project is resourced appropriately

? Ensure the project work is executed and implemented according to the plan or any agreed changes to the plan and according to agreed project management standards

? Ensure relevant and appropriate analysis, management information, and reporting is provided

? Ensure that requirements, plans, risks, issues, actions, costs, schedules, benefits, and other related project artefacts are documented and tracked

? Ensure the project closes according to required procedures

? Other:

? Builds and maintains strong relationship with clients to ensure alignment with client needs, requirements and project management support, as needed. 客户关系管理和维护

? Collaborate with and support the relevant AS team in managing the IT product lifecycle and the demand for China-based applications IT产品周期管理团队

Experience:

  1. od knowledge of the application development and maintenance processes:
  • Ability to manage mid-size IT projects. Experience in top tier financial institutions.
  • Ability to manage end-to end delivery of multi-tier application architecture and development.
  • Knowledge of CNAPS2/CIPS/ECDS/In-City Clearing/Host-to-host solution/E-Channel
  • Knowledge of RDBMS technology and object oriented programming concepts
  • Experience in managing vendor resources, contracts and resources on-site and offshore
  • Solid understanding of phases in SDLC cycle. Good understanding of various development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.
  • Experience in China regulatory applications is preferred

Education / Certification (recommended):

? Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma / work experience)

? Preferably professional qualification in Prince2 and/or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
