Responsibilities:

- Development of strategy, targets and work plan for the area.

- Ensure compliance with the needs of customers throughout the supply chain.

- Ensure effective control of materials

- Periodically evaluate the logistics area based on International logistics Indicators and define a work plan to close gaps.

- Develop Short and medium term Capacities' Planning

- Inventory control

- Develop, justify and control the budget for its area of control.

- Manage implantation of engineering changes and new projects.

- Lead the meeting in order to establish priorities and coordinate activities with others cross functional teams to comply with objectives, new projects and the customers’ requirements.

- Approve and Manage the implantation of improvement projects (savings, optimization of resources).

- Promote the Metalsa Operating System and Metalsa Model.

- Audit and control the collaborators compliance with the internal control of its area. Guarantee the execution of Logistics Policies (Proeza inventory control Policy).

- Audit and control the information registered in the management systems of its area and the systems work properly.

- Audit and control the collaborators compliance with the Quality systems and environmental guidelines proper’s of the area and the entire plant.

- Supervise the work performed by the collaborators and perform control actions.

- Responsible of the follow up of the development plans of his/her collaborators.

- Responsible for the identification, evaluation, publicity, training and control of the environmental factors in the department, such as the daily control of the management system and method of the environment factors which are identified.

Working Relationship:

- Person accountable of shipping, results' revision and measurement indicators

- Production Coordinator to review adjustments to sales and budget forecasting, check result indicators and projects' advance

- Person accountable for Production Programming to support the revision of production loads in each one of the lines

- Person accountable for steel purchasing for decision making in case of steel supplying issues

- Person accountable for assembly and component purchasing, decision making in case of assembly and components' supplying issues

- Product Development Specialist to coordinate introduction of new products and/or engineering changes

- Person accountable for material handling and inventory control, method definition and best practices for in-plant in-process inventory tracking and location. Purchasing support in supplier's evaluation and selection

- Account executives for customer information interchange

- Quality Coordinator making decisions regarding rejections in customer's facilities and material replenishments

- Administration and Services: revision of change impacts in sales forecasting and budget adjustments

- HD for development and professionalization of the team and vacancy replacements

- Team Coordinators, to determine needs, establish objectives, approve policies, procedures and strategic projects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in: Mechanical Administrator Engineering, Industrial Administration Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering.

- Experience in dealing with Customers and Suppliers

- Experience in Logistics and Systems Area

- Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain applied systems

- Materials Logistics

- Problem Solving Methodologies

- Quality Systems Methodologies

- General TS 16949 knowledge

- Value Chain Knowledge

- Ideally auto industry background
