Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure we execute a robust and logical production sequence within the frozen production period, for a group of production lines, ensuring that customer service and production efficiency targets are met. This role is fundamentally bound to process definitions 3.0 - 4.0 in the Supply Chain PLAN Hierarchy. The 3 core and overarching KPIs relating to this role are Sales Forecast Accuracy, Days Forward Cover and Inventory as a Percentage of NSV.

Key Accountabilities

Creating, Analysing and Managing production Schedules
? Create and manage a daily sequenced short term production plan for a selection of production lines.
? Re-align production schedule, based on line performance, short term material availability and quality.
? Ensure production plans are sequenced to deliver optimum Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) while not impacting customer service targets.
? Manage escalations coming from supply planners.
Manage customer service
? Work collaboratively with despatch and customer service teams to align MAKE and MOVE to optimise daily schedule.
? Liaise with a range of stakeholders to facilitate supply chain flow ensuring optimum cost of delivery.
Creating and Maintaining Static and Dynamic Data
? Manage production line capacities per product to determine overall capacity.
? Provide information and intelligence to supply planners to position resources, materials, labour etc to execute plan.
? Support development of line strategies and policies in Line with Manufacturing Excellence and Plan/Make/Move strategies.

? Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and attention to detail.

? Logical and methodical with the ability to prioritise effectively.
? The ability to build strong relationships across the organisation.
Experience
? Experience operating in a fast moving production environment.
? Detailed knowledge and understanding of manufacturing capabilities and constraints.
? Strong understanding of Diageo Supply chain processes.
? In-depth understanding of market and customer requirements.
? Supply Chain systems experience SAP ECC6, Manugistics, APO or other supply chain systems.
Qualifications
? Good second or third level education. Mathematics qualification essential.
