Responsibilities:

• Responsible to design HVAC product, including air-cooled / water-cooled scroll/screw chiller. Prepare technical calculation and documents to support technical review, response customer special orders and deal with quality issues. All tasks are project based. He/she should be accountable for results.

• Promote standard work by developing specification, guideline, FMEA for continuous improvement. Assure all design and changes are qualified and implemented in accordance with TT standards.

• Keep board vision on responsible product market. Keep eyes on competitor's product and differentiate Trane's product design.

  Qualifications:

• Hold Refrigeration Engineering or related degree and at least 3-year experience in HVAC industry. Candidates should have solid knowledge on refrigeration system, manufacture process and product cost. He/she should have experience in lab testing either. Master degree is preferred, and bachelor degree is ok if candidate fits the position very well.

• Excellent modeling and simulation capability is critical to the role. VBA coding capability is essential in MS Excel environment. Other languages such as C++, Python.., are preferred.

• Knowledge on engineering excellence and capable to apply six sigma tools in design work, such as A3, FMEA, QFD and so on.

• Candidates should be result-oriented. He/she should manage time to drive progress aggressively by self.

• Strong performance on literature research and report. Keep track on latest academic progress on related industry.

• Fluent oral English and capable to hold meeting with foreign co-workers.
