职位描述
Dimensions:
? Responsibility for the Fernox business in China which includes OEMs, Merchants, and Distributors.
? Development of Regional Sales targets to drive business growth and pay employees VCP.
? Ensure Atlas (salesforce) is effectively utilised across the Chinese team and becomes part of the culture.
? Responsibility to manage and control regional expenditures.
? Talent review, development and actively coach the Chinese Sales Team.
? Develop good working relationships with key members of Element Solutions, McDermid Enthone & Fernox personnel/departments.
Impact of position:
Through the leadership of the Global General Manager and their own endeavours:
? Develop China Strategy, Organization Structure and a short- and long-term plan with measurable and actional results
? Secure profitable business for Fernox in China both within current markets along with identifying future markets for growth.
? Identify key external market indices to measure performance of sales territories
? OEMS – Develop future strategies and build relationships with key major OEMs (Chinese and European) and support global OEM development.
? Lead the recruitment, training and development of new salespeople as required in line with the agreed strategy.
? Increase the sales revenue/margin from the existing customer base by broadening the range and increasing the quantities of products used.
? Actively engage and create annual budget and quarterly forecast updates including inventory management.
? Further develop the awareness of water treatment in the Domestic Heating Market.
? Develop and expand the Commercial & Renewable product sales in the Region.
? Attack and defend against the competitors in the market.
? Understand and maintain key obligations to the customer base particularly ‘Top 50’.
? Assist in the development and implementation of the Fernox Marketing Plan including Social Media, Exhibitions, Customer and associated areas.
? Contribute to development of new products, services through ongoing assessment of customer and market needs.
? Continuously assess the market in order to identify new potential for sales growth including adjacent markets.
? Perform regular reviews with the Sales Management team and provide oversight to the overall team’s reviews.
? Co-ordinate/deliver call plans and records, monthly reports and other administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Continued:
? Perform regular reviews with the Sales Management team to cover:
1. Progress with strategic actions
2. Progress with customers, OEMs and any third-party businesses such as specifiers.
3. Progress on budget/forecasts and actions to address any shortfalls
4. Agree and select new prospects
5. Atlas Usage and reports
6. VCP
Challenges:
? Establishing yourself as the overall leader of the sales team.
? Implementing and developing the various sales strategies and ensuring all team members fulfil requested activities.
? Develop the sales team and ensure the strategies and activities are completed.
? Developing and increasing sales/margin to meet budget /forecast targets.
? Manage regional expenditure.
? Ensure that Fernox remains at the forefront of both the Domestic Water Treatment, Renewables Heat Transfer and Commercial Water Treatment markets.
? Work effectively with all Fernox, McDermid and Elements departments.
? Maintain the positive reputation and ethics of the Corporation by complying with all company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance on the Chinese Team.
