PRODUCT MANAGER

Location: Shanghai or Dalian

Job Description:

We are looking for an all-star PRODUCT MANAGER. You will be a key member of the team. Through your work and leadership NCH China will have better market intelligence, develop a better product road map and maximize its investments in R&D and product development.

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:

• Maintain professional integrity by keeping abreast of market trends (Market Segment), customer needs, application, industry regulations and competitive development.
• Maintain an industry leadership position by timely introduction of innovative, market-driven new products that fit the long-term strategic growth plans of the company.
• Product life cycle management - product roadmap planning, product launch, post-product launch sales management, pricing design/control, product phase out plan
• Develop short and long term strategic product plans to ensure both the protection and improvement of the company’s market share and position through defensive and offensive means.
• Perform primary research on customer needs and deliver data in concise reports.
• Set short and medium term product priorities.
• Drive shared product vision across functional groups including development and marketing.
• Skillfully engage with functional partners throughout execution to ensure that deliverables align with product priorities.
• Assist with development of promotional and marketing material.
• Define success metrics and reporting needs to monitor post-launch performance.
• Provide product training to marketing, sales and technical support.
• Recommend continual product and user experience improvements based on ongoing customer research, feedback, and performance.
• Work with China and U.S. engineers to design feature sets and follow thorough on product design and development.
• Professionally manage company’s asset and control expense within budget allowance.

Required Skills:

• Product Management experience in industrial product segment.
• Bachelor’s Degree / MBA preferred
• High emotional intelligence (consistently facilitating the positive engagement of co-workers).
• When faced with decisions: Skillfully and intelligently lead others through the process of identifying what is important, generating and vetting options, and building shared vision around a decision in a respectful way.
• Able to speak and communicate in English for day-to-day business.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently exercise good judgment and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead without direct authority
