GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Account Manager will drive profitable revenue growth for ESI and our businesses in the target market area of Guangdong province.  

Responsibilities

1Proactively leads a account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for the assigned territory.

2 Meets year-over-year assigned revenue and margin targets for profitable sales volume growth and objectives in the assigned territory.

3Proactively identifies, clarifies, and validates emerging customer needs in order to create and win additional revenue opportunities within in the assigned territory.

4Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in the assigned territory.

5Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations.

 6Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. 


Qualifications

1. A Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

2. You must be a proven B-2-B enterprise sales leader with 5-7 years of professional outside sales experience. Experience selling in the Specialty Chemicals for PCB is highly preferred. Experience selling technical solutions that involve flexible materials, materials sciences, supply chain management services, and/or chemicals and raw materials to the IC substrate and Electronics Industry is also a major plus.

3. You must have a successful track record selling in a solution-oriented, products and services, long-term contract model. You must be able to prove that you have consistently exceeded sales goals in a territory where skillful contract and pricing negotiation is critical to success. 

4. You should be comfortable following a consistent team-based sales process and methodology for account and opportunity planning where opportunity sales cycles could span 6-18 months depending on the size and duration of the contract.

5. Experience using the following Sales Methodologies is a major plus: RADAR from The Complex Sale, Strategic Selling, Target Account Selling, SPIN Selling, Solution Selling, etc.

6. You must be a high-energy, high-character, entrepreneurial sales professional with an unwavering commitment to excellence for yourself, the customer and your employer. Professional image along with extraordinary organization, leadership, communication, and presentation skills are a must.

7. You must be passionate, self-starting and resourceful with a willingness to work as a part of a small, growing team. This is a fast-paced industry and environment; therefore, you must be self-managed and adaptable to change and growth.

8. You must be assertive with exceptional relationship and networking skills. You must have an executive presence and be politically savvy to expand relationships to upper and senior-level management within our customers.

9. You should be comfortable-with (and desire) an aggressive, highly leveraged compensation plan to maximize your earnings potential.

10. You must be detail-oriented and highly skilled at the Microsoft Office suite of tools. You must be very comfortable working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

11. The position requires you to have experience working in a virtual environment usually out of your own established home office. 

12.  You must be willing to devote at least 50% or more of your time to traveling in your territory and to your accounts significant travel is required.
