MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with City Walk and the Finance team to develop and implement best in class metrics and analysis to drive operation performance. Develop and implement best in class financial processes. Provide financial coaching to all operations partners.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and improve the business and then lead that change in a way that gains broad buy-in and support from key stakeholders. Influence key stakeholders to deliver on financial commitments.
• Support day-to-day financial responsibilities for Cinema business.
• Own daily/weekly/monthly financial reports that are provided to Finance and Operational management.
• Financial planning for Annual Operating Plan, Latest Estimates, and Long-Range Plan.
• Support month-end close process for Cinema business including monthly journal entries, updating P&L’s, and providing detailed variance analysis for management.
• Perform in-depth analyses on actual financial performance versus plan and explain key business drivers.
• Partner with Cinema management and the Finance/Legal team to develop and implement best in class metrics and analyses to drive operational performance.
• Strengthen controls to ensure a “no surprises” environment. Leverage relationships with operating partners to optimize financial process efficiency, accountability, controls, accuracy and to influence behavior.
• Lead/assist with special projects – both analytical and process improvements (i.e.: improved management reports, operational processes, metric management techniques, etc.). Extend findings to provide meaningful recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced leadership, corporate financial management and business skills
• Resourceful problem solver, with the ability to prioritize and create approaches to meet required objectives.
• Excellent analytical abilities are required, including advanced Excel and Access skills; SAP knowledge a plus.
• Demonstrate leadership values and ability to develop and participate in diverse/cross-functional teams.
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and influence a wide spectrum of customers.
• Ability to maintain a big picture perspective as well as be detail-oriented is essential.
• Willingness to work overtime, and/or on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Tong Zhou
