Key Responsibility
- Lead and manage supplier early involvement, supplier selection and qualification process for Original Concept (new design) Projects.
- Identify new technologies, new suppliers to meet gap between project needs & current supplier base, work with commodity team, SAM (supplier approval module) auditor to approve new supplier
- Understand product design/function to guide design options to best available technologies (technical requirements, cost, supply chain, lift time)
- Manage supplier performance on Original Concept Projects, including design support, prototyping, new design/part qualification, and commercial contract.
- Track PO delivery status according to delivery plan and project schedule
- Deploy global/regional sourcing/supplier strategy in Original Concept Projects
- Negotiate all purchasing terms and conditions to meet project target (BOM cost/ quality/delivery/service)
- Build up & follow up project schedule & planning with supplier and cross function team.
- Cooperate & communicate with Commodity & plant purchasing to set up solid supplier mapping for mass production.
- Contribute & Input to global/regional sourcing/supplier strategy from OCP point of view.

Internal & External Relationships
Internal: Project PM, Product marketing, R&D engineering, Industrialization, Commodity team, Plant Purchasing, Plant PM, Finance, Plant supplier Chain.
External: Supplier, distributor, agency

Profile Requirement
- Bachelor degree in engineer background. EE background will be preferred
- Fluently English is must
- At least 4 years purchasing/sourcing background in EE market
- Familiar with PCBA industrial is advantage
- +/- 20% business travel is required for supplier visit and purchasing needs
