Connected Offering Manager - Electrical Products

JOIN THE INDUSTRY LEADER TO DEVELOP THE NEXT GENERATION OF OFFERINGS

The Connected Offering Manager will be responsible for developing and executing roadmap for connected & software led offerings for Electrical Products. 

This role will be based in Tianjin, China and will report to the GBE Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities:

·       Define strategic direction & vision for the connected portfolio.

·       Integrate market trends, Voice of Customer feedback & technology insights to develop product & services roadmap for profitable segments.

·      Conduct customer interviews and synthesize into clear needs and use cases.  

·      Be the thought leader in translating the needs & use cases into innovative connected offerings with best in class user experience and customer centric value propositions.

·       Adapt and deploy AGILE & Z21 framework for offering development – collaborate with global offering managers, R&D, & external eco-system partners to build Release Trains and ensure faster product releases.

·       Evaluate technology choices and make decisions to achieve profitable segment leadership position.

·       Execute successful new product launches and commercial ramp-up.  Assess and deploy optimum business models for value creation – collaborate & partner where needed to create customer value and gain Share of Wallet

·       Define AOP targets for the portfolio together with business stakeholders.

You must have

·         Graduation in Software/IT/Controls Engineering, MBA preferred

·         6-8 years experience in similar role

·         Domain knowledge of IoT Devices, Cloud Technology, Intelligent user interface

·         Strong product marketing background in for extra-low voltage (ELV) products, smart buildings or IOT space

·         Proven track record of successful product launches.

·         Hands on exposure to products as well as services (e.g, SaaS) business models.

·         Strong written and oral English language skills

·         Ability to work across multiple time zones with global teams.

·         Exposure to product development methodologies – Z21/Agile or similar
