MAJOR DUTIES AND RESULTS:

    

  

1. Receive “ Safety Induction Course”
2. Receive the instruction of the job to be performed as his duties from Insulation and paint Superintendent
3. Receive the orientation of the field office function from Admin. Superintendent.
4. Receive the safety induction course from Safety Control Superintendent / Supervisor.
5. Review the latest status of “For Construction Drawings“ and “Specifications For Construction“, and ensure that the same latest Drawings and Specifications are in use by the subcontractor, and if not make sure the subcontractor collects the latest issues.
6. Report of the document status to discipline chief or Superintendent.
7. Monitor the subcontractor’s work (refer to the Check List prepared at Construction Department) and direct for correction, and repot of it to discipline Superintendent.
8. Check of resource mobilization
9. Setting up of temporary facilities (fabrication shop with suitable equipment for insulation material and jacketing, storage house, storage yards, )
10. Work plan / procedure, schedule and progress
11. Performance of daily work ( productivity of installation )
12. Safety work performance (preparation of working place / platform )
13. Clearance of refused materials ( immediate house keeping )
14. Performance of subcontractor’s stuffs
15. Insufficient matters with the subcontractor’s performance ( reasons behind poor performance )
16. Coordinate the inspection with the client, and practice the inspection followed by preparation of the inspection report.
17. Advise of available area for insulation to the subcontractor.
18. Verify the progress report prepared by the subcontractor.
19. Punch listing incomplete work and expediting punching-out.
20. Prepare a report of work supervised.
21. Coordinate interfacing work with other discipline supervisors
22. Attend inspection for QC and input the results of inspection daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
23. Check the progress report prepared by the subcontractor and input the progress, daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
24. Issue NCR ( Non Conformance Report) or any other type of defective report
25. Upon receipt of NCR or similar type of report from client, 3rd party or authorities, identify and conduct corrective action supervising discipline supervisor or subcontractors
26. Punching and verification of the system punch
27. Regular status reporting of the above works to discipline Superintendent
28. Material inspection in prior to the commencement of the works, in compliance of the applicable drawings and specification.
29. Permit To Work (PTW) preparation, application and negotiation till successfully obtain the PTW.
30. Review and evaluation of JSA and any work permit prepared by subcontractors

                                                                                                                                

    

PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING

• Check the latest status of “ Documents For Construction “ and report of it to discipline Superintendent for expediting of issuance.
• Coordinate and supervise interfaces with other work, report it to discipline Superintendent for adjustment.
• Coordinate the inspector and the client for inspections, and verify the completion of the work.

Graduate of Mechanical engineering collage and more than 4 years of experience as Insulation (SAT) supervisor in the oil and gas construction business, with knowledge of piping drawings, P&I diagram, Line index, Specifications and Procedures, names and function of insulation (SAT) materials
