Responsibilities:   

 

1. Deliver validated designs for Air conditioning and Refrigeration systems through simulation, testing and technical data generation with following product development process.

2. Develop major components for specific projects in air conditioning and heat pumps

3. Develop test plan for parts & prototypes testing and qualification

4. Provide technical data for catalogues and engineering specifications

5. Continue analysis of competitors’ data

6. Continue optimization of system performance and cost

 

Qualifications:

 

1. BS or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Thermodynamics, heat Transfer and refrigeration.

2. 5+ years HVAC&R related engineering experience on unitary or chiller design

 

Key Competencies:

 

1. Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics

2. Good conflict management skills

3. Understanding of residential, commercial and chiller HVAC systems, application and UL & GB standards preferred

4. Problem assessment and problem solving skills

5. Project planning and organizational skills

6. Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English

7. Experience with pc-based Windows programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) required

8. Six sigma training/certification preferred

9. 10% travel required
