Responsibilities
? Executes the factory audits, independent audit, supplier maturity assessment to increase supplier overall quality management ability.
? Defines Fellow quality culture and standard, monitors suppliers’ quality system to ensure the compliance, achieve targeted FPY and max output at day 1 of the production.
? Supervise and guide the daily team work; conduct and feedback regular/irregular performance evaluation; recruit, coach and develop team members
? Develop, update and maintain Quality control related documents (procedures, work instructions, forms).
? Drives supplier continuous improvement and regularly review supplier CIP, Kaizen and Lesson learn.
? Analyzes the Lot Rejection and Yield data to improve the product quality.
? Leads the Product Failure Analysis and drives Corrective Actions.
? Involves in Product/material reworks and dispositions recommendations.
? Coordinates with suppliers to implement all the CARs generated from Life Tests, Line Audits, Warranty Returns, Customer factory Audits and other Corrective Action Requests.
? Involves in new project process and perform manufacturing readiness review.
? Determines CTQ parameters, performs Process Capability Study and drives FMEA to improve Product Quality.
? Participates in ECN and Deviation implementations together with engineering team and supplier.
? Participates in the customers’ factory assessment audit and testing with suppliers.
? Facilitates a safe working environment for subordinates.
Requirements / Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Engineering
? Minimum 10 years of work experience, preferable in consumer goods/home appliance industry, in field of Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality Engineering
? Experience in manufacturing processes, systems and tools
? Continuous Improvement
? Statistical Methods (Six Sigma Black Belt preferred)
? FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Process Flow, Corrective Action Process, etc.
? Problem Solving Methodologies (5-Why, 8D, etc.)
? Experience in program management and problem-solving skills, including identify, investigate and resolve supplier technical and/or systemic issues
? 3 plus years of managerial experience including supervision of employees, demonstrated leadership experience of team management, motivation, and coach
? Self-directed and simultaneously manage multiple projects and objectives
? Deal with ambiguity, good use of resources, drive for decision and result
? Solid interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate (written and oral) to and influence supplier organizations
? Fluent English communication skill, both written and spoken
? Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
? Based in Shenzhen or Shanghai area with travel in China frequently
