Job Description & Summary:

A career in our Valuation Centre of Excellence is the natural extension of PwC's leading class global delivery capabilities. We provide premium, cost effective, high quality services that support process quality and delivery capability in support for various types of valuation engagements for financial reporting purposes. We are looking for individuals to be based in the Guangzhou office.

Responsibilities:

You will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive valuation experience, helping our clients solve their valuation issues. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the valuation assignments for financial reporting purposes;
• Prepare summaries, information requests, analyses and deliverables;
• Perform market research;
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen;
• Keep up to date with local and national business, economic, accounting and valuation issues;
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters;
• Work on developing internal relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holders with Accounting/Economics/Finance/Statistics or related majors. Fresh graduates of Y2020 are acceptable;
• 0-5 years of working experience in auditing, accounting and valuations consultancy is preferred;
• Excellent research, financial modelling and analytical skills;
• Team players, who work effectively under pressure;
• Fluency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written are essential / Cantonese proficiency preferred;
• Professional qualification such as CPA/CPV/CFA will be a plus.
