BASIC FUNCTIONS
Report to the CIT ASSOCIATE MANAGER-TECHNICAL directly and provide support to All Kohler APAC users.
- The candidate will need to understand how each system interacts with the enterprise infrastructure
- Responsible for the operating system and associated subsystems.
- Provide technical-first level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.
- Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources.
- Investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
- Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
- Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade hardware and software with the operating system.
- Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
- Write and maintain system documentation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Minimum:
- University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years professional level experience with progressive responsibilities
- A strong track record in successfully leading/completing Service Center implementations
- Experience with all phases of applications life cycle including analysis, design, programming, testing, installation, and maintenance. Such as Service desk, Windows 7, Exchange 2010, (including AD administration)
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Candidates must be knowledgeable of IT Service Management processes and preferably ITIL Foundation Certified
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Software development experience
- PBX experience
- Experience in developing Use Cases and Service desk Process.
- Experience in comfortable troubleshooting, configuring and manufacturing Service desk products
Candidate must have a solid understanding of the following Modules/Applications:
- Service Desk experience
- ITIL Foundation Certified
