We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Solution Consultant with a can-do attitude to join our talented team!

  

Essential Functions

  

• Be the total solution consultant on delivery services opportunities in the China Region. This will require facilitating a coordinated consultative response to the clients for complex, multi-product solutions working with the other sales, domain experts and product teams within the larger Rockwell Automation organization.
• Be the regional services Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the IIOT, AR/VR, and Predictive, Prescriptive and Edge Analytics solution layers
• Conduct consultative exploratory pre-sales workshops
• Perform billable consulting services for front end assessments and requirements gathering
• Execute project-based requirements development and initial use case build-out workshops
• Be the regional SME lead for proposal content generation such as technical scope definition, deliverables, and labor effort estimates and/or Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) proposals. This role will also provide general oversight on the non-ROM proposal generation working closely with the regional proposal generation teams.
• Manage the regional pipeline for all IIOT, Predictive Analytics, and AR solutions Services/Delivery opportunities
• Focus on and achieve regional target goals for services orders
• 50% travel is projected

  

Qualifications Required

    

Extensive experience selling programs or services

  

Experienced with the consultative sales methodology

  

Experience with all or most of the following:

  

• MES – Performance, Quality, and Production Management
• IIoT Platforms
• Solutions around analytics for manufacturing including – Predictive/ML, Prescriptive, and Edge analytics
• Historical and real-time asset, yield, and process performance monitoring and analysis
• Real-time Performance dashboards

  

Eight years or more experience in Operations Technology systems and/or automation solutions is highly preferred

  

Exceptional listening and interpersonal communication skills

  

A Collaborative spirit and agile, flexible approach towards solution delivery consulting

  

Exhibits proficiency and personal accountability for project performance and meeting customer needs

  

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering or other technical fields

  

Bilingual language skills for Mandarin and English

   

  

Qualifications Preferred

  

  

• Preference to candidates with experience in one or more of the following, PTC ThingWorx, MES, Rockwell Automation Pavilion, OSIsoft PI sales or solution experience

  

• Experience working with multi-cultural teams / customers

  Experience working with ISA-95 standard
