Summary:

Only accepting candidates excited to work with new and emerging leading edge IIOT, advanced analytic, and augmented reality technologies. Seeking people with the unique capabilities of extracting and unveiling the value behind data, desire to consult with customers to understand and guide their IIOT journey, and willingness to collaboratively be an implementer of these solutions. Need to be able to embrace human centric design approaches to provide modern user experiences layered on top of traditional manufacturing environments. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Solution Consultant with a can-do attitude to join our talented team!

Essential Functions:

  • Support direct and indirect sales efforts globally through onsite customer visits to develop solution value estimates and differentiate advanced analytics solutions over competitive offerings. This may include technical presentations, review of customer processes/historical data and development of benefit assessments.
  • Be lead evangelist for the company’s solutions in the market through the collaboration with Commercial Marketing to development and delivery of white papers, conference presentations and media briefings consistent with RA communications guidelines.
  • Define the scope and bill of materials for the standard industry solutions marketed by sales and deployed by services
  • Work with Sales Management,Commercial Marketing, & Delivery Managemnt to develop go to market strategy and required supporting materials to ensure solutions are effectively positioned and meet current and evolving industry drivers.
  • Develop training & sales support materials (in collaboration with commercial Marketing) for effective marketing of the solution including, but not limited to, the following elements: Presentations. Application data sheets, ROI calculators, Customer case studies and papers, Proposal language.
  • Work with Sales Management to prioritize strategic customer pursuits and collaborate to execute sales order plan
  • Facilitate transfer of industry and application knowledge to sales, services and marketing personnel
  • Keep abreast of current and evolving industry & customer requirements in designated countries and regions to ensure solutions are being developed in accordance with changing requirements.
  • Research and provide the necessary product/solution requirements to develop new applications to capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Provide input to product management concerning product features necessary to facilitate deployment of industry-specific applications.
  • Motivate cross-functional resources to ensure customer satisfaction with solutions.
  • Collaborate with delivery services to ensure proper functional design, implementation and standards for industry-specific applications toward identifying the ‘right’ scope of industry standard solutions as presented by sales and delivered by engineering (managing the overall trade-off between costs, customer expectations and acceptable margins).
  • Assist sales and technical sales team as required to meet quarterly and yearly order plan.
  • Assist in the development of annual marketing plan with quarterly updates

Qualifications Required:

  • 5 or more years’ experience (operational or vendor) in manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with Advanced Analytics (i.e. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, neural networks, Advanced Process Control, Model Predictive Control)
  • Proven understanding of the business drivers, and manufacturing processes and industry best practices across various industries
  • Proven track record in dealing with complex global organizations.
  • Excellent inter-departmental communication skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to manage complex, multi-month projects and personnel. Proven track record in developing required training and presentation material content.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • Ability to break down a production process and review data from the process and Quality data to evlaute and determine value areas in the process
  • Experience with building business cases for value areas in manufacturing
