Specifically, eBay CN enables global trading by providing the leading cross-border online platforms in the largest export-driven economy China. We connect millions of Chinese sellers with '00 millions of overseas buyers; we also enable Chinese buyers to find unique and authentic items from the most trusted sellers around the global.

China Marketplace Development team is based in Shanghai/Shenzhen and takes full responsibility of CN revenue target by designing and executing end-to-end initiatives and solutions on generating local market awareness, driving local seller acquisition and activation as well as growing trading activities in a dynamic global eBay online marketplace.

This role will:
? Responsible for driving newly acquired merchant develop and grow business online;
? Improve Trust & Safety performance to enhance better e-commerce user experience
? Work with cross function internal teams to drive specified group of clients to meet business metrics

Specific Responsibilities
Responsibility/Activity

Drive newly acquired merchant success on eBay global trading platform: (approx 40%)
? Support newly acquired merchant business growth through intensive policy/platform training, selling strategy consultant, and key account issues solving;
? Scale up merchant activities by providing constructive business suggestions, key business issue diagnosis and guide & enforce seller best practices;
? Work collaboratively with external and internal resources, including trust & safety team, product management team, marketing team, and business development teams to meet the business targets

Improve merchant trust & safety performance: (approx 40%)
? Improve merchant trust & safety metrics performance through problem identify, issue diagnosis, solution providing and business implementation to grown sustainable business
? Escalate aggressively the Trust & Safety consequence, and collaborate with merchants to provide better buyer experience
? Identify the key factors of low Trust & Safety performance based on merchant status investigation and comply with the best practices


Providing a vital communication linkage between merchants and international functions: (approx 20%)
? Working closely with international and cross functional teams for business development and best practice sharing

Candidate Profile Qualifications
Area Qualification Description of What's Needed
Education or professional qualification/certification (or equiv. experience) ? University and Degree Qualified in Business, Economics, Computer, Auto Mobile etc
? Track record of academic, professional achievement
Experience
? At least 3-5 years automobile parts working experience
? Experience in e-commerce or internet industry is a plus
? An independent, proactive and effective player under pressure
Skills
? Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken & written)
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Logic thinking and strong quantitative analytical skills
? Ability to self-educate and work autonomously with minimal supervision
? A fast worker, committed to meeting targets and deadlines
? Results oriented and self motivated, takes the initiative, thinks through things and makes things happen
