Job Description:

1. The job will focus on transaction drafting and negotiating relating to the company's core products and services.
2. The role will also involve providing advice on and handling other customary in-house business matters and contracts, including procurement agreements, NDAs, leases, etc.

3. Additionally, the role will be responsible for implementing and enforcing group policies locally, and providing related training as needed.

4. The role shall also have some experience in litigation.

5. Interface with company managers and outside agencies.


Required Skills:
1. Excellent drafting and negotiating skills,

2. Be able to manage a large volume of contracts and balance competing internal demands,

3. Be able to navigate providing good commercial advice with balancing and spotting risks,

4. Strong people skills are required to deal with a range of clients and internal customers, as well as establishing the Legal Department's role in the APAC region,

5. Minimum 3-5 years working experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience,

6. It is highly preferable that the candidate have experience and sensitivity in dealing with local China issues, including interfacing with government run or linked entities,

7. The candidate will also be comfortable working in an international business environment, where day-to-day work is conducted in English,

8. Ability and willingness to juggle low-level work, such as translations, together with sophisticated deals is a must.
