职位描述

Position Summary:
The PPI Lean Manager is an operations strategy position. The goals are focused on enabling change and process adoption that reshape the organization in support of our vision and strategy (STRAP). Leading teams across the country organization, and in close coordination with all key stakeholders, the Project Manager leverages the Thermo Fisher Scientific PPI Business System to bring consistency, integrity and intensity into strategic improvement projects.
Specifically, this role will act as an internal consultant and coach, implementing improvement projects and deploying lean leadership tools for our HR organization.
Functional Responsibilities:
-Coordinates cross-functional teams and executive sponsors. Facilitates pipeline identification, planning, and implementation, leveraging lean leadership tools and standard work (8-step, PDSA)
-Leverages, trains, and enforces standard work following PPI Business System (Lean deployment)
-Partnership with Finance in balancing project budgets, obtaining approvals
-Acts as the voice of PPI as role-model leader. Proactively communicates the benefit of PPI Business System to clients in the organization.
-Removes roadblocks and obstacles through facilitated learning, uses structured problem solving and a consistent and robust sponsor escalation process
-Ensures actions and commitments between Thermo Fisher Scientific China leadership and functional stakeholders are aligned, with engagement from all.
Specific Deliverables
-Functional Excellence focus on HR business practices, talent and culture support initiatives
-Core project management
-Execute specific deliverable projects with Vice President sponsorship
-Establish Charters and action plan execution for critical few improvement projects, co-owned by central PPI team and client HR team
-Business System Implementation
-Develop cascading goal tree for client organizations
-Visual boards and mobile KPI management systems
-Establish standard work for PPI administration
-Savings and productivity tracking
-Maturity Assessments and action planning
-Training
-Project participants training
-Process manager training
-Executive sponsor training
-Facilitation Support
-With the PPI Director, identify large scale improvement opportunities, referencing the company goal tree
-Coach executive stakeholders and project teams to create action plans, budget and impact analysis
-Assemble stakeholders, moderate team understanding through process mapping
-Organize and host Kaizen events
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree
preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Finance, or Organizational Behavior
-5 years of relevant industry experience in SG&A functions, with 5 years management experience in a consulting environment, six-sigma preferred
-Proficient in Chinese and English language
-PMP certification a plus
-MBA preferred
-Good communication skills across all organization levels, including excellent interpersonal skills
-Embodies role-model ethical standards
-Ability and experience making data-driven decisions across business functions
-Proficient in Windows based office software, MS Project, Minitab are a plus.
-10%-20% travel
