Responsible for implementing the safety policies and systems of the Corporate and Site, and reviewing the compliance;；

Responsible for daily PSM management and compliance auditing；

Coordinate PHA/LOPA review, MOC&PSSR.

Responsible for issuing  the safety work permit；

Responsible for auditing the safety qualification of the contractor, supervise and inspect the safety management of the contractor

Prepare emergency drill plan and organize drill

Responsible for follow-up of safety audit CAPA to ensure its implementation

Responsible for incident investigation (RCA)

Responsible for the maintenance and operation of OSHAS18001 system

Complete other tasks assigned by the manager

Drives LEAN/Six Sigma, continuous improvement of processes and operations for increased productivity and efficiency (Operational Excellence)

Grow a culture of continuous improvement (CI) by consistently embedding CI into meetings, trainings, processes, and systems

Ensures that EH&S work is accomplished through defined, measured, and continuously improved work processes; identifies and leverages EHS best practices

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree, Chemistry specialty is preferred

Registered safety engineer is preferred

Minimum 5 years EHS management experience in chemical enterprise

Familiar with EHS laws and regulations

Ability to read and draw process flow chart

Knowledge of major chemical equipment

Familiar with operating procedures, good skills in Word and Excel chart analysis

Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% of the time

Must be willing to work extra-long days (12+ hours) when needed.

Must be able to provide 24/7 technical and managerial support to the site as appropriate
