Chemist of Hair Dye Development

(Dye Synthesis 合成染料）

Key job responsibilities

• Assist quality manager developing hair dye suppliers in APAC Zone (China, India and Japan)

• Define the roadmap and milestone with Raw Material Sourcing team together regarding supplier improvement and hair dye qualification plan

• Onsite visit of hair dye suppliers to conduct the risk assessment and define the corrective actions, as well as the process optimization

• Sharing clearly regulatory and safety requirements with the suppliers

• Develop the analytical methods with suppliers and quality lab together

Required qualification (Education, Language, Expertise, Functional Competencies)

• Bachelor degree or above in chemistry especially Organic Synthesis Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Fine Chemical

• At least 5 years of working experience in dye industry for research or quality positions

• Fluent in Chinese and English, understanding French is an extra

• Strong personal desire to creation and problem solving to find the technical solution with the suppliers together for continuous quality improvement

• Good networking skill with spirit of cooperation since the position requiring strong interactions with the different stakeholders such as R&D, Analytical Department, RM Sourcing, etc.

• Taking initiative, positive and keep curiosity character

• Practical good EHS and hair dye regulation knowledge
