AECOM Support/ Cross Services comprises a number of important functions which develop and implement solutions to support our businesses and to help them meet the needs of clients. Its role is to ensure that the Business Lines operate effectively, in alignment with AECOM’s overall corporate goals. The activities cover Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and Communications, and Administration

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our team in Shenzhen. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition – Greater China, the role will see you lead from the front, partnering and more importantly - influencing your key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor in entire Talent Acquisition spectrum. You will execute innovative sub-regional levels and business unit Talent Acquisition strategy in alignment with APAC Talent Acquisition strategy to drive effective hiring practices and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full life-cycle recruitment including developing search strategies, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers and facilitating the hiring and on-boarding process.
• Provide supervision and coaching to the Talent Acquisition team covering diverse business lines
• Consult with hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, coaching and guidance on best practices and sourcing trends.
• Responsible for developing, recommending and executing recruitment strategy with decision makers to ensure a successful candidate search within the identified time frames.
• Proactively direct source for talent through social media, employee referrals, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and other innovative channels
• Use proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional industry related associations, in order to build ongoing passive candidate networks.
• Build relationships and communicates consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well informed.
• Create a positive candidate experience (for both the selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process.
• Develop and execute a structured and effective campus recruitment strategy for the South China region
• Work with the Manager, Talent Acquisition – Greater China to develop and drive process improvement

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other relevant fields

· Minimum 8 years’ Talent Acquisition experience, both external and in-house preferably in a fast paced MNC environment.

· Proven experience identifying and hiring talent within engineering consulting, architectural or construction industry is highly preferred

· Strong written/verbal, interpersonal communication, negotiation and analytical skills

· Experience managing confidential and sensitive information with proven ability to make decision based on sound judgments.

· Ability to change recruitment direction and priorities, based on ever changing critical needs.

· Ability to work in a demanding, dynamic, and evolving work culture.

· Demonstrate good understanding of PRC employment laws

· Both Mandarin and English communications skills (both verbal and written) is essential.
