FAE现场应用工程师（电化学/光学背景）

1. Purpose of the role

    

To actively deliver technical support to SIOT (Gas Sensor) internal and external customers for profitable growth

    

    

1.  Key Responsibilities:

    

    

• To provide technical support by dealing with customer's technical queries and advising on product and applications in a timely accurate and efficient manner
• To maintain regular proactive phone contact with customer technical development staff to ensure their current and future application needs are understood and met wherever possible
• Update customers on new sensor developments, monitor and report on customer evaluations of new sensors
• Support the sales team and ensure all relevant visit report actions and customer requests are followed up in a timely manner
• To support and guide customer field application
• Follow up with customers on new product developments/applications and liaise with R&D regulatory issues/sensor application issues where appropriate

        

    

THE CANDIDATE

        

    

1.         Education Required

    

Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineer, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.

    

    

2.         Work Experience Required

    

Master Degree: Graduates can be considered

    

Bachelor Degree: 2+ years’ experience in industry safety, semiconductor industry or emission monitoring segment.

    

    

3.         Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required

    

§  Technical background of the Division’s products, this may have been gained through formal academic qualifications and/or time spent with the company.

    

§  Technical understanding of relevant sensor technologies and operating principles are required.

    

§  Familiar with the basic application of power, can design schematic diagram

    

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in GC-FID would be a plus.

    

§  Good communication skills are a prerequisite, as is the ability to organise one’s own priorities.

    

§  To have an achievement with regards to customer interface enquires and technical information.

    

§  To be fully conversant with MS Office, company database systems, company procedures and new product development
