Manage analysis of the customer requirements relating with HW and Identify the Risks to meet the customers' requirements in cost, timing and quality.

Manage products development, changes, transfer and quote

• To participate in the product technical data preparation (drawings, BOM …,)

• To release product technical information (spec, drawings…,)

• To establish/review the product in plant test specification (ES spec create and review)

• To provide technical solution to the OEM’s

Initiate & Pilot design FMEA, Reliability Study, Failure Tree Analysis, Safety Hazard Analysis

Pilot HW HSIS, PoD (Proof of Design ) Worst Case Analysis,

Write Technical Specifications.

Write a Purchasing Technical Specification for new components.

Others required in Hardware development process

Manage the verification of the design concept

• Write test plan & perform tests.

• Analyze test results and write test reports.

• Create 8D Reports if available

To support Hardware Design Engineering team in their daily task

• To train Hardware Application Engineer related products, tools, VNE standards

• Guaranty full respect of VPDS and VNE rules

Support the industrialization of the product or cross team related HW knowledge

• To support PV testing (define the product harness, provide IP files & products)

• To support the quality team for the PPAP delivery

• To support the cross teams for product knowledge

• Support Industrialization, Manufacturing and Purchasing team regarding hardware.

• Select component in order to reduce component multiplicity in project and with other projects.

Support prototypes as required by the Design Leader.
