Description:
1. Identify new technologies & new suppliers, qualify new supplier during design concept phase
 - Identify new technologies required for new designs.
 - Understand product design/function to guide design options to best
available technologies (technical requirements, cost, lifetime, …)
 - Provide local market intelligence and project requirements to build procurement strategies through Category core teams.
 - Coordinate w/ quality and category procurement teams to identify, select and qualify new suppliers following SAM process.
2. Deploy Procurement/Supplier strategy
 - Guide development teams to select appropriate suppliers.
 - Align supplier strategy w/ Category Team for each Category.
 - Implement procurement strategy by Supplier mapping(SBO).
 - Avoid any monopolistic situation whenever possible.
3. Lead early supplier involvement
 - Leverage supplier expertise to improve Design for Manufacturing.
 - Support value analysis by function vs cost and boost QVE ideas
 - Introduce Innovation ideas from supplier side to new projects.
4. Manage BOM cost & MSA
 - Conduct cost estimation through the cost breakdown, should cost
 - Get and analyze supplier quotes.
 - Monitor and ensure competitive material cost to meet product target cost.
 - Negotiate all procurement terms and conditions QDCS(quality/delivery/cost/service).
 - Set up MSA for strategic parts & components.
5. Conduct project management for product/part
 - Build up and follow up project planning w/ supplier and cross-functional/global teams.
 - Manage supplier performance in terms of in due time & quality of deliverables, and monitor improvement
 - Ensure quality and on time delivery of procurement project deliverables
 - All process/procedure should follow PES(Procurement Excellence System) requirement
6. Deploy Should Cost
 - Lead and execute should cost action for CHINA new offer, and support negotiation round table by facts to drive cost efficiency & sustainable productivity
 - Deploy Should Cost methodology and mindset within OCP projects on CHINA Power Products & System, and Home & Distribution scope to optimize new offer competitiveness
 - by leading “Should Cost”/ “Clean Sheet” actions on major projects,
 - by developing awareness and skills on OCP purchasing community
 - Contribute to industrial costing accuracy & dynamics
 - Be the China TCO Champion in the OCP Should cost community
 - Be part of Expert team to Build analytic tools and methods to identify productivity opportunities. You will leverage internal and external technical experts, buyers experience as well as your own to develop these tools
 - View productivity end to end and think strategically in order to identify and manage opportunities to the business
 - Report should cost KPI to OCP should cost Project Manager
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree of science in mechanical or electronic disciplines,  Master is preferred; Education in Supply Chain Management or Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
2. 5 years min. with similar working experience for
mechanical/Electric/Electronics commodities, strong should cost
knowledge and project procurement experience
3. Understanding of manufacturing processes and tools
4. Product knowledge is a plus
5. Ability to work cross functionally in a matrix environment
6. Ability to manage multiple projects across functions with little supervision
7. Strong influence and convince others in team work or in negotiations
8. Fluent English communication
