职位描述
Main purpose of role:
This role has two functions:-
Firstly, plan and select the range, type and quantity of Oakley products according to customer demand (eg. price, quality and availability), trends, store policy and budget
Secondly, the role is responsible for supporting the Retail Operations Manager in developing and improving the operational and financial processes that enable sound planning and decision-making for Oakley China Retail
Duties & Responsibilities:
1 Buying
> Obtain information from SAP, Retail Pro as well as Store Management and Retail staff about stock levels and fast and slow moving goods
> Consider which product will sell well in particular locations and the prices customers are prepared to pay
> Research customers demands and trends by processing store sales and inventory reports
> Manage and analyse stock levels and order points using SAP
> Anticipate changes in customer demand for particular goods, as goods must be purchased well before their sale to customers
> Attend national sales conferences to inspect and purchase indent product for all O-Stores.
> Present new ranges/product to all Retail staff including product selection, pricing, distribution, stock, technical features and marketing
> Replenish stock using SAP system
> Consolidate stock and coordinate mark downs
> Providing key information to Retail Operations Mgr and Brand Managers to ensure OSP retail's specific needs are addressed
2 Visual Merchandizing
> Manage to create a distinctive and enjoyable store environment of Oakley stores. This include the window display, product merchandising, in store promotion and in-store.
> Maintain the store visibility and consistency among Oakley stores
> Participate in the evolution of the store design of Oakley
> Manage, coordinate and supervise the outside agencies for production and quality control.
3 Retail Management
> Helping ensure retail monthly/quarterly budgets are achieved every time by working with Retail Operations Manager and retail staff
> Ensuring all Retail employees have knowledge, motivation and devotion to Oakley brand, product, systems, etc
> Providing key market knowledge and statistics to Brand Managers in order to show the progress of Oakley product at retail level
> Ensuring the entire retail team receives all relevant communication and information out of Head Office
4 Analysis, Budget/Forecasting & Reporting
> Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on stock performance and key performance measures
> Work with Brand Manager to set indent and buying budgets and communicate frequently with Store Management to discuss planning, budgeting, sales promotions, advertising campaigns, etc
> Other reporting as required by the Retail Operations Manager
Qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience and mandatory requirements
Essential Previous relevant retail experience in the core/sport/lifestyle industry three plus years)
Have the relevant business (i.e. financial) and commercial (i.e. sales) experience to drive sales
Essential > ability to analyse trends
Essential > customer service skills and relationship building
Essential > open communication (internally and externally)
Essential > time management
Essential > outstanding product and technical knowledge
Essential POS/administration knowledge (experience in retail IS, or administratively minded ie. detail focussed, logical, good process mind, analytical
